North Mesquite is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Molina a five-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The North Mesquite Stallions will look to defend their home field against the Molina Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. North Mesquite will be strutting in after a win while Molina will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, North Mesquite turned things around against Sunset on Friday. They breezed past the Bison to the tune of 50-7.

North Mesquite can attribute much of their success to Julien Simpson, who rushed for 89 yards and four scores, and Terrance Collins, who rushed for 143 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries. With that strong performance, Collins is now averaging an impressive 104.9 rushing yards per game. Keon Burke was another key back, rushing for 93 yards on only five carries.
