Basketball Recap: St. Francis de Sales Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Francis de Sales can now relate to. They took a 66-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix on Friday. The Pioneers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Phoenix earlier this season, when they won 75-72.

St. Francis de Sales has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-23 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points over those games. Unity Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Francis de Sales nor Unity Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
