Volleyball Recap: Declo Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wendell last Wednesday, Declo came back down to earth. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Malad Dragons on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-8.

Declo's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Malad, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Declo is set to face off against their familiar foe Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Malad will take on rival Soda Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
