Richmond Heights suffered their closest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of the Louisville Leopards by a score of 64-62. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Louisville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brayden Gross out in front who posted 22 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tate Aljancic, who scored ten points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Richmond Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Louisville, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Richmond Heights has already played their next match, a 79-55 victory against Buchtel on the 1st. As for Louisville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-36 win against Alliance on the 1st.
