After flying high against Whittell last Friday, Excel Christian came back down to earth. The Excel Christian Warriors took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mineral County Serpents on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Serpents: they've now lost seven in a row.

Excel Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Keegan Davis, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 boards, and Sam Mills, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.
