Volleyball Recap: Napa Comes Up Short

Napa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Acalanes Dons.

Napa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Acalanes, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Napa will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Casa Grande at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Acalanes, they will be playing at home against Moreau Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
