Basketball Recap: Amory Comes Up Short

Amory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tishomingo County Braves. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-34 last Friday.

Amory's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Tishomingo County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Amory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tishomingo County has already played their next match (against Itawamba Agricultural), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
