It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Brock ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Brownwood Lions 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Brock's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Brownwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brock is set to square off against their familiar foe Mineral Wells at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brownwood will take on rival Glen Rose at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
