Bennett had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt The Pinnacle on Wednesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Timberwolves. Bennett might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Reese West and Nathalie Gonzalez scored all six of Bennett's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Sterling was forced to settle for a draw. They and Weld Central finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Sterling's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-1. As for Bennett, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
