Valley Christian skates past Sacramento Country Day with ease

The Valley Christian Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They really took it to Sacramento Country Day for the full four quarters, racking up a 89-32 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Valley Christian, who have now won eight matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Valley Christian had a senior duo take command as Ian Glaspy scored 19 points along with seven assists and five steals and Chase Clary dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Glaspy's 15th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Larson, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

Valley Christian pushed their record up to 10-8 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.0 points per game. As for Sacramento Country Day, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Valley Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cristo Rey at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Cristo Rey comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Sacramento Country Day, they will head out on the road to face off against Buckingham Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
