Volleyball Recap: Piute Comes Up Short

Piute came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Panguitch Bobcats. The Thunderbirds haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-10, 25-13.

Panguitch can attribute much of their success to Brooklyn Harland, who had 15 digs.

Piute's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Panguitch, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Piute does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Panguitch, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Emery on the 10th.
