Baseball Game Preview: Baldwin Fighting Highlanders vs. South Park Eagles

The Baldwin Fighting Highlanders will face off against the South Park Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Baldwin is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They fell 17-13 to Seton LaSalle.

Meanwhile, South Park can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Carrick as they made off with a 15-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

South Park's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Baldwin, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Baldwin beat South Park 11-7 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Do the Fighting Highlanders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
