Baseball Recap: Rangeley Lakes Comes Up Short

Rangeley Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Forest Hills Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-2 loss back in April.

Dylan Lemay and Elden Irish stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lemay went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base, while Irish got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Those hits marked the first that Lemay has got this season.

Rangeley Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Forest Hills, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

While Rangeley Lakes had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
