Volleyball Recap: South Houston Trojans vs. Cedar Creek Eagles

South Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Creek Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15.

Valerie Rodriguez paced South Houston's offense, picking up three kills. Rodriguez got some help from Sara Lopez and her three assists.

South Houston's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cedar Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

South Houston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Pflugerville Connally on the 15th. As for Cedar Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Texas School for the Deaf on the 16th.
