Basketball Recap: Rochester Comes Up Short

Rochester's tournament run continued when they took on Saint Ignatius College Prep on Thursday. The Rochester Rockets were beaten by the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack 61-22. The contest marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Rochester and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rochester will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they will face off against New Trier at 4:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
