Lomira waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Mineral Point Pointers. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 victory the Pointers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Lomira's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Mineral Point, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Lomira will head out to face off against St. Mary's Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mineral Point, they have already played their next game, a 7-2 win against Waterloo on the 26th.
