Volleyball Game Preview: St. John Eagles vs. Ascension Christian

The St. John Eagles will face off against Ascension Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, St. John made easy work of Family Christian and carried off a 3-0 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Flames recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ascension Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Louisiana School for the Deaf 3-0 on Wednesday.

Ascension Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for St. John, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

St. John couldn't quite get it done against Ascension Christian in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
