Basketball Recap: Hampton Park Christian Piles Up the Points Against Westgate Christian

A well-balanced attack led Hampton Park Christian over Westgate Christian in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Hampton Park Christian blew the Westgate Christian Eagles out of the water with a 62-12 final score. Hampton Park Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 27 points or more this season.

Leading Hampton Park Christian to victory were Calvin Scott and Trevor Gearhart. Scott posted seven points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Gearhart went 5 for 6 on his way to 11 points. Those three steals gave Scott a new career-high. Elliot Clement also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Hampton Park Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
