Basketball Recap: Linden-McKinley Victorious

While Linden-McKinley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the East Tigers by a score of 50-40 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 57-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, East still got an impressive performance from Kaliyah Barron, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. Barron has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 21 times she's played. Makeda Inman was another key player, putting up five points and 13 rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Linden-McKinley and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
