Volleyball Game Preview: South Beloit Sobos vs. Lincoln Academy

The South Beloit Sobos will take on Lincoln Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. South Beloit is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, South Beloit earned a 2-0 victory over Hiawatha.

South Beloit not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hiawatha between 18 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Academy beat Audubon 2-0 on Monday.

While Lincoln Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-2, 26-24.

Lincoln Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for South Beloit, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.

South Beloit beat Lincoln Academy 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sobos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
