It was a Battle of the Birds when Liberty North faced off against Liberty on Friday. Liberty North fell 58-47 to Liberty. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Kansas City East Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They had to suffer through a 77-46 loss at the hands of Oklahoma F. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since November 7th.

Liberty North will have to contain Maddox Carrillo as he made an impact in Kansas City East Christian Academy's last game. He almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. Carrillo's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Cartwright, who posted 11 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberty North and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
