Colony faced Lathrop in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights blew past the Malemutes 5-0. The result was nothing new for Colony, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Lathrop with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jonathon Figgins (2), Alexander King, Isaac Villa, and Aideb Donahue.

Colony's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-2. As for Lathrop, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Lathrop will be playing at home against West Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colony will be paying especially close attention to the Malemutes' contest: after the Malemutes face off against Wasilla, they'll take on Colony again at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
