Mount St. Mary Academy came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Nichols Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Mount St. Mary Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 17-25, 25-21.

Isabella Kilonsky paced Mount St. Mary Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Kilonsky got some help from Claire Gaulin and her 24 assists. Kilonsky was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Mount St. Mary Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-10-1. As for Nichols, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Mount St. Mary Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nichols, they will take on Nardin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
