Football Recap: West Bend-Mallard Takes a Loss

West Bend-Mallard was the 42-6 winner over Northwood-Kensett when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines lost to the Vikings on the road by a 31-14 margin on Friday.

West Bend-Mallard's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Northwood-Kensett, the win was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Bend-Mallard will face off against rival North Iowa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Northwood-Kensett is set to challenge their familiar foe Riceville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
