Soccer Game Preview: Clovis North vs. Clovis West

The Clovis North Broncos are taking a road trip to take on the Clovis West Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Clovis North is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Buchanan just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Bears could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Broncos happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, Clovis West hasn't lost a match since December 16, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They beat Clovis by a goal, winning 2-1.

Clovis West has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-3 record this season. With that draw, Clovis North's record moves to 10-1-3.

Clovis North was able to grind out a solid win over Clovis West in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 2-0. Does Clovis North have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clovis West turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
