Football Recap: Arvin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Arvin fell victim to North and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a blow against the Stars, falling 34-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bears were not able to get on the board.

Leading North to victory were Bradley Dockery and Gavin Schillizzi. Dockery rushed for 100 yards on only eight carries, while Schillizzi rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. What's more, Dockery posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Arvin and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for North, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Arvin and North will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bears will face off against rival Del Oro at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th. Meanwhile, North is set to challenge their familiar foe Tehachapi at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th.
