After a string of seven wins, Prescott's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Prescott lost, don't look at Teddy Bernick. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 12 en route to 14 points. Bernick is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Prescott's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2. As for Durand-Arkansaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Prescott Cardinals challenge the River Falls Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Durand-Arkansaw, they will welcome Arcadia at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
