Basketball Recap: Southeast Career Tech Comes Up Short

Southeast Career Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 73-27 defeat at the hands of the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks. The Roadrunners were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-15.

Edward Arellano and Diego Galarza certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Arellano posted ten points, while Galarza had nine points. That's the most points Galarza has posted since back in December of 2024.

Southeast Career Tech's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Desert Oasis, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-7.

Southeast Career Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Pinecrest Academy Cadence at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Desert Oasis, they are taking a road trip to face off against Rancho at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
