Basketball Game Preview: West Geauga Wolverines vs. Riverside Beavers

The West Geauga Wolverines will take on the Riverside Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. West Geauga is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, West Geauga lost to Chagrin Falls at home by a 56-38 margin. The Wolverines were down 42-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Riverside came up short against North on Saturday and fell 41-28. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Beavers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Rangers are ranked 506th).

West Geauga's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Riverside, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
