Basketball Recap: American Leadership Academy Falls Short of North Summit in the Playoffs

American Leadership Academy and North Summit squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but American Leadership Academy had to settle for second. They fell 65-55 to the North Summit Braves. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost five in a row.

Trevor Richins was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 29 points and 11 boards for North Summit. Thanks to that strong game, Richins now owns an excellent 45.7% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Buck Sargent, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

American Leadership Academy's record is now 21-6. As for North Summit, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5.

As of now, neither American Leadership Academy nor North Summit have any future games scheduled.
