Volleyball Recap: Torrington Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Torrington hadn't done well against Wheatland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Trailblazers skirted past the Bulldogs 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Trailblazers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Torrington was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (102-98), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-21, 14-25, 19-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Their offense was headlined by Zoe Wilson and Kinley Bluemel, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Natalie Long and her 37 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Torrington's win bumped their record up to 14-11-2. As for Wheatland, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-15.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Torrington and Douglas will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wheatland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
