Basketball Recap: Rowland Hall Winged Lions vs. St. Joseph Jayhawks

There's no place like home for the Rowland Hall Winged Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against St. Joseph by a score of 60-48 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rowland Hall also won the last time the pair played last Monday.

Yeshi Tsering continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Brady, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Rowland Hall has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for St. Joseph, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rowland Hall will take on the Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Waterford is ranked 118th, while the Winged Lions are ranked 117th). As for St. Joseph, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Draper APA focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
