Football Game Preview: Douglas Trojans vs. Coquille Red Devils + How To Watch

The Douglas Trojans will head out to face off against the Coquille Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Douglas has given up an average of 30.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Douglas is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Siuslaw on Friday. The Trojans fell 46-42 to the Vikings. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (41), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Douglas got top-tier performance from Ryder Sawyer, who threw for 259 yards and five TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 64 yards. Jaden Burkhart was another key player, rushing for 155 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Coquille, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They snuck past South Umpqua with an 18-13 win on Friday.

Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Coquille, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2.
