Basketball Recap: Lockport Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lockport, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They rang in the new year with a 61-49 win over the Plainfield North Tigers on Friday. This was payback for the Porters, who suffered a 55-37 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lockport now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Plainfield North, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Lockport will venture away from home to challenge Stagg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainfield North, they will welcome Yorkville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
