Soccer Recap: Rustin Comes Up Short

Rustin came into their game on Sunday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Springfield Gardens Golden Eagles, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Rustin's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rustin now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Springfield Gardens, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Rustin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springfield Gardens, they will square off against Laguardia at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
