Volleyball Recap: Williams Field Wins Going Away Against Gila Ridge

Williams Field won the last time they faced Gila Ridge and things went their way on Monday too. The Black Hawks blew past the Hawks 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-10.

Tatum Clay paced Williams Field's offense, picking up ten kills. Clay got some help from Makenna Mooney and her 28 assists. Mooney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Williams Field's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Gila Ridge, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-6.

Williams Field wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against South Mountain on the 17th. As for Gila Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Basha on the 17th.
