Basketball Recap: Kinley Bray's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Red Lodge over Lockwood

Red Lodge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lockwood LIONS.

Red Lodge lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kinley Bray, who posted nine points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Emineth, who had four points and five rebounds.

Even though they lost, Red Lodge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Red Lodge's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lockwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Red Lodge is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Huntley Project at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Huntley Project will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Red Lodge surely won't give up without a fight. Lockwood and Browning will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
