Volleyball Game Preview: Weatherly vs. Tri-Valley Bulldogs

Weatherly is 0-10 against Tri-Valley since September of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. Weatherly will challenge Tri-Valley at 6:00 p.m.

Weatherly lost 3-0 to Schuylkill Haven on Thursday.

While Weatherly was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-9.

Despite the loss, Weatherly saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mya Binder had seven digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, Tri-Valley came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Green Wave as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Tri-Valley was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-17, 25-19.

Weatherly's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Tri-Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1.

Weatherly might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Tri-Valley when the teams last played on September 4th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Tri-Valley's Callie Melocheck, who had 18 assists and seven aces. Now that Weatherly knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
