Volleyball Recap: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Takes a Loss

After flying high against Millis last Monday, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional came back down to earth. The Falcons fell just short of the King Philip Regional Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Among those leading the charge was Nolan Franz, who had 20 digs.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for King Philip Regional, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional will face off against Nipmuc Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for King Philip Regional, they will take on Boston Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
