Volleyball Recap: West Springfield Beats South Lakes for Their Fourth Straight Win

West Springfield extended their postseason success on Thursday against South Lakes. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the South Lakes Seahawks. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

West Springfield walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 25-15.

Logan Eaton paced West Springfield's offense, picking up 26 kills. Eaton got some help from Asher Kim and his 44 assists. Alex Guido controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

West Springfield's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for South Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.

West Springfield will challenge McLean at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. McLean is coming into the contest with eight straight victories on the road, so West Springfield will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. South Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
