Softball Recap: Highland Regional Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Highland Regional's offense. They lost 22-0 to the Cumberland Colts on Monday. Tartans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Colts since on Monday.

Highland Regional's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Cumberland, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland Regional will face off against Triton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cumberland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington Township at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colts are facing the Minutemen at the right time seeing as the Minutemen are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
