If Carson City-Crystal wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Coleman, they should've done a better job of containing Dominic Lawrence. The Comets were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over the Eagles on Friday thanks in part to Lawrence, who rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 114.2 rushing yards per game.

The win got Coleman back to even at 2-2. As for Carson City-Crystal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Coleman will take on St. Patrick at 7:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Carson City-Crystal, they will square off against Marion at 7:00 p.m. on the 27th.
