Volleyball Recap: Coastal Christian Comes Up Short

The Coastal Christian Conquerors lost 3-0 to the Channel Islands Raiders on Wednesday. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-10.

Channel Islands can attribute much of their success to Riley Luna, who had 11 digs and two aces. Luna has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Coastal Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Channel Islands, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Coastal Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Channel Islands, they are taking a road trip to square off against Magnolia at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Sentinels will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
