Norris barely beat Lincoln Northwest the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 10-2 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won five contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Anden Papik tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Tanner Klein and Jordan Monroe did most of the damage at the plate: Klein scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5, while Monroe scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Bryce Fountain was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Norris was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln Northwest only posted a batting average of .160.

Norris' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln Northwest, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Norris has already played their next game, an 8-7 win against Columbus on the 3rd. As for Lincoln Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-2 victory against Aurora on the 3rd.
