Basketball Recap: Port Huron Takes a Loss

Port Huron lost against Dakota back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Port Huron Red Hawks took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dakota Cougars.

Meadow Cameron continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dakota, almost dropping a double-double with 30 points and nine rebounds. Cameron's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Garavaglia, who posted 12 points.

Port Huron has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. The win (which was Dakota's third in a row) raised their record to 11-14.

Port Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dakota, they will be taking part in a tournament against Utica Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
