Baseball Recap: Benicia Takes a Loss

Benicia managed to slip by Vintage the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Benicia Panthers lost 10-4 to the Vintage Crushers on Tuesday. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Jake Todd was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Benicia fell to 3-1. As for Vintage, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benicia will head out to challenge Petaluma at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Petaluma will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Benicia surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vintage, they are taking a road trip to face off against Ukiah at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
