Basketball Recap: New Garden Friends Comes Up Short

New Garden Friends was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westchester Country Day Wildcats. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 57-40.

New Garden Friends' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Westchester Country Day, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

New Garden Friends will challenge Crossroads Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crossroads Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Westchester Country Day, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Westchester Country Day Wildcats duke it out with the High Point Christian Academy Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
