Softball Recap: Weimar Extends Winning Streak to Four

Weimar waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Schulenburg Shorthorns a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Weimar's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Schulenburg, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16-1.

Looking ahead, Weimar will head out to square off against Moulton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Schulenburg, they will host Ganado at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Shorthorns' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
