Baseball Recap: Heide Trask Comes Up Short

Heide Trask's last matchup with East Duplin could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Titans might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-4 to the Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heide Trask saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Reece-Murray, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Heide Trask's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for East Duplin, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

While Heide Trask had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
