Kwigillingok takes loss despite strong efforts from Caiden Nichols and Carson John

Recap: Kwigillingok Eagles vs. Chief Paul Memorial Falcons
The Kwigillingok Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Chief Paul Memorial an easy 65-45 win. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kwigillingok in their matchups with Chief Paul Memorial: they've now lost six in a row.
Kwigillingok's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Carson John, who scored 18 points, and Caiden Nichols who scored 17 points. Christopher Lewis was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Kwigillingok's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Chief Paul Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kwigillingok won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Kongiganak at 12:00 p.m. on December 16th.
